Former Cleveland Browns swing tackle Chris Hubbard has found himself a new landing spot in the NFL. Hubbard is heading to the Tennessee Titans on a one-year deal, according to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler.

Hubbard spent the last five years with the Browns and played in 46 games during that time. The 32-year-old Hubbard started 36 games for the Browns during that time, he was there when the Browns called upon him. During the 2018 and 2019 seasons, Hubbard started a combined 29 times. During 2021, Hubbard suffered a season-ending injury that kept him off the field for 15 games.

Prior to joining Cleveland in free agency following the 2017 season, Hubbard played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for four years. He started 10 games in his final year there.

Since Nicholas Petit-Frere was suspended by the NFL for gambling, the Titans could use some more tackle depth. At this point in his career, Hubbard is best suited to be a backup. But if the Titans' plan b fails, Hubbard could be that guy to come in and give some capable snaps.

Hubbard was virtually well-liked in Cleveland and he was a good locker-room guy while there. It’s a positive to see the guy get another chance in the league.
