Bearcats Offensive Lineman James Tunstall Returning for 2022 Season

The Bearcats have a bevy of offensive line talent to lean on next season.

CINCINNATI — The big fellas on offense should be a major point of strength in 2022, and they just retained another piece of the puzzle. Starting left tackle James Tunstall is tapping into his extra year of eligibility and sticking around for the 2022 season.

Tunstall started UC's final ten games at left tackle after transferring over from Stony Brook University. He anchored an offensive line that allowed 42 tackles for loss last season (fourth fewest nationally).

He was an FCS All-American at Stony Brook and should help either Evan Prater or Ben Bryant breathe a little easier as they take over the quarterback spot from Desmond Ridder.
