CINCINNATI — The Reds have been active in trade talks involving second baseman Jonathan India according to multiple reports

The Blue Jays are one of the teams they're talking to according to Bob Elliott.

That aligns with Jon Morosi's report that the Reds are discussing a possible India trade with "multiple teams."

The team says they want to keep the former National League Rookie of the Year, but there's plenty of speculation that he could be moved this offseason.

It wouldn't be shocking to see the Reds trade India, especially if they can land a player that can realistically help them win in 2024.

The Reds signed infielder Jamier Candelareio earlier this month. That could make the decision even easier to move on from India, who posted a .244/.338/.407 slash line last season.
