Bengals Injury Roundup: Practice Reports on Tee Higgins, Chidobe Awuzie, And More
CINCINNATI — A few Bengals players are on the mend as practice continued on Thursday with the Seattle Seahawks on deck.
Linebacker Akeem Davis-Gaither (knee) was the only injury-related absence for Cincinnati. Defensive end Myles Murphy (personal) missed the session for non-injury reasons.
Cornerback Chidobe Awuzie (back), linebacker Devin Harper (hamstring), and Tee Higgins (rib) logged limited practices. They both missed their first games of the season this past Sunday. Higgins preached optimism that he might be able to play during open locker following practice.
"At the end of the day it might sting a little bit but I'm right back up and ready to go," Higgins said about how he'd deal with the broken rib.
