Browns Cornerback Suffered ‘Significant’ Ankle Injury Against Jets
A couple of injuries piled up for some young Cleveland Browns players in their first preseason game of the season against the New York Jets.
Cornerback Thomas Graham Jr. joined the already reported wide receiver Daylen Baldwin with a significant injury suffered in the game. Graham had an ankle injury that is going to sideline him for the long haul, said Kevin Stefanski on Friday.
Graham appeared in seven games for the Browns last season after being called up from the practice squad. During that time, Graham saw time on both defense and special teams. The Oregon product got his start in the NFL in 2021 with the Chicago Bears where he played in four games and made one start.
Now, it’s yet to be seen if the Browns will add any cornerback depth. One would expect them to, at least for training camp.
