CINCINNATI — Running backs took center stage at the 2022 NFL Combine on Friday night. Former Bearcats rusher Jerome Ford showed off his athleticism for scouts throughout the night.

Ford posted an official time of 4.46 seconds in the 40-yard dash, which ranked 12th among running backs at the event.

Ford rounded out his workout with a 31-inch vertical leap and a 9-foot, 9-inch broad jump. The running back is currently the consensus 146th-best prospect in the 2022 NFL Draft and is expected to be a fifth-round pick. His Relative Athletic Score ranks 341st among RB prospects since 1987.

Stay tuned for more updates throughout the weekend as the defensive line/linebackers work out on Saturday, and the Bearcats secondary contingent closes things out on Sunday.
