CINCINNATI — The Fickell household is going to need a new trophy case pretty soon. UC's head coach accepted his seventh Coach of the Year award on Wednesday night.

The latest distinction for Luke Fickell is the American Heart Association's Paul "Bear" Bryant Coach of the Year Honor.

Despite all of the national attention and awards, Fickell is still the Bearcats head coach. That's what matters most in what is normally a turbulent time for Group of 5 schools.

Cincinnati is dealing with assistant coach turnover but Fickell knows that's the price of building a top-10 program. He'll keep furthering that goal by trying to win a third-straight AAC Championship in 2022. Watch Fickell get announced as the winner below.
