CINCINNATI — A former legendary Bearcat tailored his coaching skills at Cincinnati over the past two seasons and is now taking those talents north. Armon Binns is the new receivers coach at Youngstown State.

Binns coached wide receivers at Hampton University in 2019 and then spent the past two seasons at Cincinnati as an offensive quality control coach. He played at Cincinnati from 2007-10, appearing in 41 games—while leading the Bearcats in receiving during each of his final two seasons.

He is still among Cincinnati’s top-10 all-time in receptions (138), receiving yards (2,008 yards), and receiving TDs (21). Binns played in the NFL from 2011-15, with stops in Jacksonville, Cincinnati, Miami, and Kansas City.
