Watch: Myjai Sanders Updates the Public on Weight Gain Ahead of UC Pro Day

Sanders checked in at 228 pounds during last week's NFL Combine.

CINCINNATI — There were plenty of evaluators scratching their heads surrounding Myjai Sanders's stark weight loss between the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine. He put those worries to bed on Thursday—posting a video where he checks back in near his normal 248-pound mark.

Sanders weighed in at 228 pounds during last week's combine. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Sanders had been dealing with an illness throughout the week that contributed heavily to the weight loss.

Subsequent mock drafts didn't have the edge rusher included in his normal second-round range. It would have been very difficult to enter the league and play defensive end against behemoth offensive linemen at 228 pounds.

The fact he already has the weight back up to his Senior Bowl level should have teams eyeing his explosiveness breathing a sigh of relief. Cincinnati's Pro Day is scheduled for March 24.
