CINCINNATI — A former Bearcat earned a highly-coveted distinction for his 2021-22 NFL performance. Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce was named the NFL's 1st-team All-Pro center.

The honor marks the second time in Kelce's Hall-of-Fame worthy career he’s been a Pro Bowler and 1st-team All-Pro the same season. He earned both honors in 2019 while being a first-team All-Pro honoree in 2017 and 2018. Kelce dominated the ballots, receiving 21 of 50 votes by a panel of football writers, 10 more than Corey Linsley of the Chargers.

The UC great has done big things in the NFL over the last decade-plus. He is just the 11th center to earn four All-Pro honors, and each of the 10 others are members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Kelce attended Cincinnati from 2006-10 and was named second-team All-Big East during his senior season.
