The Ole Miss Rebels haven't lost many recruiting battles this offseason, but they did on Saturday.

Ole Miss class of 2024 offensive tackle target Jac'Qawn McRoy announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks, he announced on 247Sports' YouTube channel Saturday. The Rebels still boast the No. 19 class in the 2024 team rankings, according to 247Sports Composite.

In addition to Ole Miss, Arkansas and Kentucky were also in the mix for McRoy who, at 6-8 and 365 pounds, was compared to former Ohio State Buckeyes offensive tackle and Cleveland Browns fourth-round draft pick Dawand Jones.

Life isn't all bad for Ole Miss offensive line coach John Garrison, though. He has landed four commitments in the trenches for the Rebels, including interior offensive lineman William Echoles Saturday.

In addition to Echoles, the Rebels will likely bring in three-stars offensive tackles John Wayne Oliver and Jude Foster and interior offensive lineman Joseph Cryer.

As the Rebels usher in the new month, they're looking to carry over the momentum on the recruiting trail they built in June.

Ole Miss picked up nine of their 17 commitments during June. In addition to three of its four offensive line commitments, the Rebels landed safeties Travaris Banks, Andy Jaffe and Shamaar Darden, athletes Anthony Robinson III and Cameron Clark and cornerback Bernard Causey.
