CINCINNATI — The Reds officially signed Jeimer Candelario on Monday afternoon. 

They signed the veteran infielder to a 3-year contract with a club option in 2027. The deal is reportedly worth $15 million per season. 

Candelario spent time with the Cubs and Nationals last season, posting a .251 batting average with 22 home runs, 70 RBI and an .807 OPS.

The 30-year-old spent most of his time at third base, but also made 21 starts at first base.
