Winners and Losers From Cincinnati Bengals' 30-27 Loss to Houston Texans

Cincinnati's winning streak is over at four following their loss to Houston.

The Bengals fell to 5-4 on the season after Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Texans 30-27. Here are our winners and losers:

Winners

Texans

The Bengals had a chance to win it at the end, but they played poorly for the majority of the game. The Texans looked great on offense and forced multiple three-and-outs to seize momentum.

Aside from a couple interceptions with the Bengals trailing in the fourth quarter, Joe Burrow played well and Cam Taylor-Britt had a huge interception, but this was an all-around bad loss for the Bengals.

Losers

Lou Anarumo

The Bengals defensive coordinator had one of his worst performances in recent memory. The Cincinnati defense had no answers for CJ Stroud and were unable to get any pressure on the rookie quarterback.

The Bengals secondary also had a poor performance, leaving many receivers wide open over the course of the game. Texans receiver Noah Brown had 172 receiving yards. He had 267 yards on the season prior to Sunday's game.

They’ll have a tough test on Thursday against the Ravens.

Tyler Boyd

The Bengals had a chance to win it late and on a beautiful pass by Burrow, but Tyler Boyd just dropped it in the end zone. The Bengals played poorly most of the game, but the drop by Boyd was the dagger.

Offensive Line

The Bengals offensive line had a pretty rough outing against the Texans. Burrow was sacked four times and they weren’t able to create any holes in the run game.

Alex Cappa and Cordell Volson in particular played poorly. With a big divisional matchup against the Ravens and their tough defensive line coming up on Thursday, they’ll need to figure something out fast.

Bengals Pass Rush

The Bengals just weren’t able to get much going in their pass rush today, and with a late injury to Trey Hendrickson at the end, it could get worse.

They are going to need to get someone to step up as a pass rusher soon. Rookie Myles Murphy and Joseph Ossai will need to be more effective moving forward.
