Zac Taylor Shares Latest Injury News on Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Sam Hubbard

Cincinnati hosts Houston on Sunday at Paycor Stadium

CINCINNATI — Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase practiced on Thursday and Friday, but head coach Zac Taylor isn't ready to say the star wide receiver will suit up against the Texans. 

"We'll see," Taylor said after Friday's session. 

Chase landed hard on his back during Cincinnati's Week 9 win over Buffalo. He was really sore on Monday and Tuesday, but has gradually improved throughout the week. 

The Bengals will be without key pieces on offense and defense on Sunday. 

Wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) and Sam Hubbard (ankle) are both out. Higgins suffered his injury during Wednesday's practice. Hubbard hasn't practiced all week after getting hurt in win over the Bills. 

Rookie wide receiver Charlie Jones was activated from the injured list this week and cleared to practice, but hasn't been added to the roster. Will they add him so he can play on Sunday? 

"We'll see," Taylor said. 

The Bengals play Houston on Sunday, then they head to Baltimore to play the Ravens on Thursday Night Football.
