Report: NFL to Hand Down Multiple Season Long Suspensions This Week for Gambling
The NFL does not play when it comes to gambling on their own sport and it looks like they’re going to show that again this week. According to Adam Schefter, the league is going to give a handful of suspensions down to players this week who were gambling on NFL games.
Indianapolis Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers is one that will be suspended for the 2023 season, while the others are unknown at this point. This leaves a lot of questions in the air about which players exactly. That will leave NFL fan bases and media scrambling for answers, as they wait to hear.
The NFL suspended Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Calvin Ridley all of last season for sports betting on the NFL. It affects the integrity of the game, so the NFL is about as harsh as possible when it comes to the situation.
Now, Cleveland Browns fans and others around the league will just have to wait for the news to break and hope it’s not one of their own.
