CINCINNATI — Former UC center Hayden Koval has found a new team. The recent UC grad just signed a professional deal with BK Iskra Svit.

The Slovakian-based team plays in the town of Svit, Slovakia. The team is historically one of the best squads in the country and plays in the Slovak Extraliga.

BK Iskra Svit has won five Slovak Cups in club history, second all-time to Basket Pezinok (seven). Koval's new team most recently took home the cup in 2014.

Koval averaged 3.1 points, three rebounds, and 0.8 blocks per game during his lone season at UC. He finished his career ranked t-35th in NCAA history in career blocks (363).
