UC Ranked No. 22 in Preseason Coaches Poll

UC has a Top-25 matchup in store to open to open the 2022 season.

CINCINNATI — The preseason coaches poll is live, and Cincinnati is on the list. UC is ranked 22nd going into the 2022 season. They are ranked higher than any other team in the AAC, with Houston checking in at No. 25.

Central Florida (55 votes) was the only other AAC school to receive votes.

UC is above Sam Pittman's Arkansas team (No. 23), who they are facing to open the season on Sept. 3. The top ten went in this order: Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson, Notre Dame, Michigan, Texas A&M, Utah, Oklahoma, and Baylor.

Cincinnati opened the 2021 season ranked 10th in this poll. It's going to take great seasons from a few teams on the schedule, but getting ranked in the opening Top 25 polls is a huge factor towards getting back into the College Football Playoff with another undefeated regular season.
