Four-Star 2023 Forward Rayvon Griffith Reveals Top-10 Schools
CINCINNATI — UC is in the running with plenty of schools trying to add the talents of four-star small forward Rayvon Griffith. The Taft High School junior unveiled his top-ten schools this past weekend and Cincinnati cracked the list.
Griffth is the city's best high school prospect in next year's class and would be a massive building block for Wes Miller's team.
The electric forward's top ten included the Alabama Crimson Tide, Arizona State Sun Devils, Kansas Jayhawks, Louisville Cardinals, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Penn State Nittany Lions, South Carolina Gamecocks, and UCLA Bruins.
Griffith is No. 25 on ESPN's 2023 Top 60 and is ranked as the best player not only in Cincinnati but in Ohio as well. He is ESPN's eighth-ranked small forward nationally.
The AAU teammate of Bronny James averaged 23.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game for Taft last year and isn't slowing down this season. Griffith is averaging 18 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists seven games into his junior season. He is the only player in the Cincinnati Metro Athletic Conference averaging over 13.3 PPG.
