The Cincinnati Reds have added a pair of top international players to their organization.

The Reds agreed to deals with outfielder Adolfo Sanchez and shortstop Naibel Mariano on Monday according to MLB Pipeline and Baseball America.

Sanchez is getting $2.7 million, while Mariano's deal is worth $1.65 million.

Baseball America reports Sanchez signed the sixth-highest bonus, while Mariano received the 11th-highest.

Sanchez is rated as the No. 5 prospect in this international class according to MLB Pipeline. His ability to hit is his best attribute and he is considered one of the best hitters in this group. Scouts say he has "OK" speed and a plus arm, which could put him in right field.

Mariano is a tall shortstop at 6-foot-3 and may end up at third base by the time he is ready for the majors. He also boasts a good hit tool with lots of power. Scouts say he doesn't have to sell out for power and could develop into a 25+ home run type of player.

Both players are 17 and are just beginning their baseball journey. A lot can happen over the next four or five years, but it looks like the Reds added two studs to their organization.
