Reds Injury Updates: The Latest on Nick Lodolo and Graham Ashcraft
The Cincinnati Reds third Cactus League game of the year brought news on two pitchers we’ve been waiting to see. We know exactly when Graham Ashcraft will make his spring debut and we have a range of time for Nick Lodolo.
Lodolo said that he is feeling well and hasn't had any setbacks. He told Jim Day that he expects to get into a game in the next week.
Ashcraft gave an exact day, revealing he will pitch against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Shohei Ohtani on Thursday, Feb. 29. He has been working his way back from offseason surgery on his right big toe.
Lodolo added that his road back to the mound has been slower than he would have liked, but doesn't believe his regular season availability has been negatively affected.
