Bengals And Rival Fans Donating to Joe Burrow's Foundation Amidst Season-Ending Injury

Some good is coming out of the worst news all season.

CINCINNATI — The brutal season-ending injury to Joe Burrow is at least sparking some good deeds from Bengals...and Chiefs fans. Fox19 reported that the Facebook group Chiefs Kingdom has rallied its members to donate $9 to the Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund.

“Out of respect for Joe Burrow and the great rivalry over the past few years, I’m encouraging Chiefs fans to donate $9 to the Joe Burrow Hunger Relief Fund in light of his season-ending injury,” the post said.

The Joe Burrow Foundation acknowledged the support in a statement on Saturday.

“We thank Bengals Nation and fans from around the NFL for donating $9 to the Joe Burrow Foundation to support Joe. To learn more about our Foundation, please visit our website at joeburrow.org.”

Burrow won't play again this season but it's another example of NFL fans trying to find light in the darkness in a similar way to how Buffalo fans helped support Andy Dalton's charity when he indirectly punched their playoff ticket back in 2017.
