Free Agent WR Marquise Goodwin Visiting Browns

Cleveland Browns are hosting free agent wide receiver Marquise Goodwin for a visit, as they continue to look at options to improve.
In this story:

Cleveland Browns are currently hosting a speedy free agent wideout that would improve the room. Marquise Goodwin is visiting with the Browns, per a report. Goodwin is currently a free agent after spending last season with the Seattle Seahawks.

Goodwin, a player that runs a legit 4.27 40-yard dash, is one of the fastest players in the game today. Last season with the Seahawks, Goodwin totaled 387 receiving yards and four touchdowns. He played in a talented room that included Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf.

This signing if it came to reality, would be a player that can be your third wide receiver or fourth, as well as work out of the slot. Adding Goodwin may force you to cut a player like Anthony Schwartz, too.

Over nine seasons and time spent with the Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, Chicago Bears, and the Seahawks, Goodwin has put together 3,023 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns.

Goodwin's best season came in 2017 when he made 16 starts for the 49ers and brought in 962 receiving yards. That was the only season that Goodwin started more than nine games.

It will be interesting to see if the Browns sign Goodwin, a two-day visit could mean good things on that front.
