Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill Says he Tried to go to Browns

In a surprising development, star wideout Tyreek Hill says he tried to join the Cleveland Browns last offseason. Hill was eventually dealt to the Dolphins but revealed it was Cleveland who he tried to land with.

“They should’ve paid me, I tried to come to Cleveland,” Hill said. “I tried but they didn’t want me.”

The Browns traded a fifth-round draft selection for Amari Cooper and it worked out, as Cooper went over 1,000 receiving yards and was everything Cleveland wanted.

On the other hand, Hill had the best season of his career in his debut year with the Dolphins. Hill complied 1,710 receiving yards and seven touchdowns as the game’s most explosive player.

Now, as a Browns fan, you can just imagine Hill in this offense with the other playmakers. It would have undoubtedly made the team significantly better but it came at a cost the Browns could not meet.
