Jake Renfro, Lorenz Metz Named Top Interior Offensive Line NFL Draft Prospects

Cincinnati has a strong offensive line unit to lean on in 2022.

CINCINNATI — A pair of UC big fellas got some love on Dane Brugler's look at the top NFL interior offensive line prospects heading into the 2022 college football season. The Athletic writer named Jake Renfro the eighth-best underclassmen interior lineman, while Lorenz Metz slotted in as the 19th-best senior interior offensive lineman.

Neither player is ranked on the consensus big board, but that should start changing as more outlets begin their full evaluations for the 2023 NFL Draft.

Cincinnati has only had three offensive linemen selected in the draft since 2000: James Hudson III (2021), Parker Ehinger (2016), Jason Kelce (2011), and Trevor Canfield (2009). The program hasn't had two offensive lineman selected in the same draft since 1953.
