CINCINNATI — Nick Lodolo continues to make his way back from offseason surgery. The veteran is hoping to pitch in a game sometime next week. He threw a live bullpen on Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Reds manager David Bell believes Jonathan India is on track to be ready for Opening Day.

"Our plan was to time it up so he’s ready," Bell told reporters. "If he doesn’t have any setbacks, he’ll be ready for Opening Day. Part of the reason we’re being conservative (with him playing in spring games) is so we don’t have any setbacks."

Matt McLain was cleared and is ramping up after suffering an oblique injury last week.
